Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ,
“Christ is in Our Midst! - He is and Always Shall Be!”
GREETINGS AND APOSTOLIC BENEDICTION…
There has been some confusion amongst our Brethren regarding the title of “Primate” as used by Archbishop +GRIGORY (Mikhnov-Vaitenko) which is contrary and absent from the legal documents that were previously filed with both the governments of the Russian Federation and the United States of America.
First, we all profess being part of the religious movement that began in Moscow, Russia based on the "Declaration for the Revival of Orthodoxy" that was promulgated on 31 January 2000. Second, the formal and legal entity recorded 30.04.2004 with the government of the Russian Federation, was for the OPOAT or "Union of Orthodox Communities of the Apostolic Tradition" of which +GRIGORY is the current Primate.
Third, the formal and legal entity recorded 10.07.2023 with the government of the United States of America - State of Ohio, was for the APC or "Apostolic Orthodox Church" [which is protected by the US Department of State for the preservation of freedom of religion and worship granted to all International Offices of the APC] of which we are the Primate. Fourth, +GRIGORY has written numerous letters to Hierarchs of our OCA/UAOC-APC jurisdiction as being "Primate of the APC" which he is not.
+GRIGORY must immediately stop using our APC registered name. He, and the OPOAT structure under his management, never had legal registration for use of the name APC and he is not a representative of an officially recognized Apostolic Orthodox Church. The “official” APC-Historic Registration includes the APC Hierarchy in Ukraine, COAC in Russia and OCA/UAOC-APC in the USA as indicated on our website.
Asking Almighty God to richly bless all our Hierarchs, Clergy and families as we continue to Serve the Lord...and, as we remain Sincerely Yours in Christ…
