THE PROTHESIS
At an appropriate time, immediately before the processional, the celebrant or designated priest shall proceed to the Altar of Protheis. Vested in amice (depending on Liturgical Style), alb, cincture and stole.
The celebrant shall say:
Priest: The Lord be with you, -or- Dominus Vobiscum,
People: And with thy spirit. -or- Et cum spiritutuo.
Priest: Let us pray. -or- Oremus.
The priest shall take the altar bread, place it on the paten and lifting slightly praying:
Accept, O Holy Father, almighty and everlasting God, this unspotted host which I, unworthy servant, offer unto Thee, my living and true God, for my innumerable sins, offenses, and negligence’s, and also for those here present and for all the faithful Christians, both living and dead, that it may avail me and them unto life everlasting. Amen.
The priest shall pour the wine into the chalice and bless the water, slightly pouring the water in the form of the cross, and praying:
O God, who in creating human nature has wonderfully dignified it and still more wonderfully reformed it, grant that by the mystery of this water and wine, we may become partakers of His Divine Nature, Who deigned to partake of our human nature, Thy Son our Lord Jesus Christ, Who liveth and reigneth with thee in the unity of the Holy Spirit, God, throughout all ages of ages. Amen.
The priest shall lift the chalice as he is praying:
We offer unto Thee, O Lord, the chalice of salvation, beseeching Thy mercy that it may ascend before Thy Divine Majesty as a sweet odor for our salvation and that of the whole world. Amen
Accept us, O Lord, in the spirit of humility and contrition of heart; and grant that the Holy Sacrifice we offer this day in Thy sight may be pleasing to Thee, O Lord God.
Come, O almighty and eternal God the Sanctifier, bless this + Holy Sacrifice for the glory of Thy Holy Name.
The Preparation of the Gifts having been completed, the priest shall return to sacristy, finishes vesting and prepare for the processional.

PRAYERS BEFORE THE ENTRANCE
The congregation stands during the processional hymn. The priest stands before the communion rail or the Iconostasis. The Divine Liturgy begins as the celebrant chants or recites:

People: I have sinned against you – only against you and done what you consider evil. So, you are right in judging me; you are justified in condemning me.

People: A faithful heart is what you want; fill my mind with your wisdom.
Priest: Remove my sin and I will be clean; wash me, and I will be whiter then snow.

Priest pauses a moment to recall his own offenses against man and God.
Priest: I confess to God, to Blessed Mary, ever virgin, to all the Saints, and to you, my brethren, that I have sinned exceedingly in thought, word and deed, striking breast 3x +++ by my own fault. I beg Holy Mary the Blessed Theotokos, all the Saints of God, and you, my brethren, to pray for me.
People: Almighty God have mercy upon you, forgive you all your sins, and bring you to everlasting life. Amen.
The congregation pauses and then makes their confession:
People: I confess to God, to Blessed Mary, ever virgin, to all the Saints, and to Thee Father that I have sinned exceedingly in thought, word and deed, by my own fault. I beg Holy Mary the Blessed Theotokos, all the Saints of God, and Thee Father, to pray for me.
The General Sacramental Absolution
The priest faces the people.
Priest: May Almighty God have mercy upon you, forgive you your sins, and bring you to everlasting life. Amen. May the Almighty and Merciful Lord grant you pardon + absolution and remission of all your sins.
People: Amen.
Priest: Turn us again, O Lord, and strengthen us;
People: That Thy people may rejoice in Thee.
Priest: O Lord, show Thy mercy upon us;

The Nicene Creed
Priest: I believe in one God,

MASS OF THE FAITHFUL
THE GREATER OFFERTORY
Here may be sung an Offertory Hymn while the congregation is seated.
The Antimension is opened, and the gifts brought forth for procession. Upon returning to the altar, the gifts are placed on the antimension, and veils removed.
Incensing would take place following the procession.
The priest censes the oblations, and a procession is made to the back of the church, and up the center aisle, unless an Iconostasis is present. Then the typical norm would follow.
A member of the congregation brings up the Books of Intentions.
The priest washes his hands and recites alone:
Lavabo The 26th Psalm (Versses 6-12)
Priest: I will wash my hands in innocence, O Lord, and I will go to Thy altar, that I may show the voice of thanksgiving, and tell of all Thy wondrous works. Lord, I love the house in which Thou dwell, and the place wherein Thy glory dwells. Do not sweep me away with sinners, nor my life with the bloodthirsty, in whose hands is wickedness, and their right hand is full of gifts. The Preface
The following Preface or other may be used. Sunday and other Holy Feasts maintain their own Preface.
Priest: It is proper and just to sing hymns to Thee, to bless Thee, to praise Thee, to thank Thee, to worship Thee in every place of Thy kingdom; for Thou are God ineffable inconceivable, invisible, incomprehensible, ever existing, yet ever the same, Thou, and Thy only-begotten Son, and Thy Holy Spirit; Thou brought us forth from non-existence into being, and raised us up again when we had fallen, and left nothing undone, until Thou brought us to heaven and bestowed upon us Thy future kingdom. For all this we give thanks to Thee, and to Thy only begotten Son, and to Thy Holy Spirit, for all that we know and that we do not know, the manifest and the hidden benefits bestowed upon us. The Sanctus
The congregation kneels at the Sanctus. The bells should be rung at each Holy:
All: HOLY, HOLY, HOLY, Lord God of Hosts. Heaven and earth are full of Thy glory. Hosanna in the highest. Blessed + is He that cometh in the Name of the Lord. Hosanna in the highest.
THE CANON
One may Kneel or Sit according to one’s ability.
The priest then reads the Canon of the Liturgy.
Priest: Therefore, Most Merciful Father, we humbly pray and beseech Thee through Jesus Christ Thy Son our Lord, that Thou would be pleased to accept and bless these gifts, these offerings, these Holy spotless Sacrifices, which we offer Thee in the first place for the Holy Catholic and Orthodox Church. That Thou would vouchsafe to keep Her in peace under Thy protection, to bring Her to unity and to guide Her throughout the world. Invocation of the Holy Spirit

Here the clergy exchange the Kiss of Peace, then transmit to the congregation.
The Kiss of Peace may be done by the priest approaching the communion rail and a member of the congregation coming up to receive the peace and then shares it with the congregation. If there is an Acolyte, he presents the peace to each row among the people and they in turn pass it on to others in their row.

The Communion of The Clergy

Taking up the Body of Christ he says before receiving:

The Communion Of The Faithful
The priest facing the people, uses either the western approach or the eastern approach, and holding the Gifts prays:

Here shall all who are worthy advance to the altar to receive Holy Communion under both Body and Blood.
The Body is placed in the Blood and presented unto the tongue of the communicant. If someone, for some reason, cannot take the Blood then they should come up and place one hand on their heart.
If someone only wishes a blessing with the Sacred, then they should come up with arms folded across the chest.

The Antimension is opened, and the gifts brought forth for procession. Upon returning to the altar, the gifts are placed on the antimension, and veils removed.

The priest faces the people and blesses them with cross

The Agnus Dei

Here the clergy exchange the Kiss of Peace, then transmit to the congregation.
The Kiss of Peace may be done by the priest approaching the communion rail and a member of the congregation coming up to receive the peace and then shares it with the congregation. If there is an Acolyte, he presents the peace to each row among the people and they in turn pass it on to others in their row.
Priest: O Lord, Jesus Christ, Son of the living God, who by the Will of the Father and the cooperation of the Holy Spirit has, by Thy death, given life to the world, deliver us, we beseech Thee, by this Thy Most Holy Body and Blood from all iniquities and from every evil. The Communion of The Clergy
I will take the Bread of Heaven and call upon the Name of the Lord.
Priest prays thrice:
Lord, I am not worthy that Thou should come under my roof; but speak the word and my soul shall be healed. X3
Taking up the Body of Christ he says before receiving:
May the Body of our Lord + Jesus Christ, which was given for me, preserve my body and soul unto everlasting life. Amen
And then says:
What reward shall I give unto the Lord for all the benefits He has done to me? I will receive the cup of salvation, and call upon the Name of the Lord, which is worthy to be praised; so, shall I be safe from my enemies.
Taking up the Blood of Christ he says before receiving:
May the Blood of our Lord + Jesus Christ, which was shed for me, preserve my body and soul unto everlasting life.
Prior to putting the chalice down, he kisses the foot of the chalice.
The Communion Of The Faithful
The priest facing the people, uses either the western approach or the eastern approach, and holding the Gifts prays:

Here shall all who are worthy advance to the altar to receive Holy Communion under both Body and Blood.
The Body is placed in the Blood and presented unto the tongue of the communicant. If someone, for some reason, cannot take the Blood then they should come up and place one hand on their heart.
If someone only wishes a blessing with the Sacred, then they should come up with arms folded across the chest.
To each communicant, he says:
Priest: May the Body and Blood of our Lord Jesus Christ keep your soul unto everlasting life.
After receiving these precious gifts, return to your seat and give thanks for the blessings He has bestowed upon you.
Priest: What we have partaken with our mouth, O Lord,
All: may we receive with a pure heart, and of a temporal gift, may it become to us an eternal remedy. May this Communion cleanse us from sin, O Lord, and make us partakers of a heavenly healing.
